The XBD - XA horizontal single - stage fire pump unit is a product developed according to market demand. Its technical conditions comply with the relevant requirements of the national standards GB6245 "Fire Pumps" and GB55036 "General Code for Fire - Fighting Facilities".
Product Working Principle
- The main working components of the horizontal single - stage fire pump unit are the flow - through parts of the pump, including the pump body, impeller, and pump cover.
- The pump body is composed of a suction pipe, a pressure chamber, and a discharge pipe. It connects the inlet and outlet pipelines and converts the kinetic energy of the medium discharged from the impeller into pressure energy.
- The impeller is the core component of the pump, consisting of front and rear cover plates and intermediate vanes. It accelerates the medium.
- The pump cover is composed of a disk - shaped structure and a sealing cavity, which seals and connects the pump body and the suspension bracket.
The working principle of the pump is as follows:
- Before the pump starts operating, the pump body and the pipeline in front of the pump are filled with the medium.
- When the motor starts, the impeller rotates at high speed driven by the motor. The medium in the impeller rotates together with the impeller under the drive of the vanes and is thrown out of the impeller outlet at high speed under the action of centrifugal force, entering the pressure chamber of the pump body. At the same time, the medium at the impeller inlet flows towards the vanes, causing the pressure of the medium at the impeller inlet to decrease.
- The pressure of the medium in the suction pipe of the pump body is higher than that at the impeller inlet. The medium in the suction pipe of the pump body flows towards the impeller inlet, and at the same time, the pressure of the medium in the suction pipe of the pump body decreases.
- The pressure of the medium in the inlet pipeline is higher than that in the suction pipe of the pump body. The medium in the inlet pipeline flows towards the suction pipe of the pump body.
- The medium thrown out of the impeller outlet at high speed and entering the pressure chamber of the pump body has its movement speed reduced, and part of its kinetic energy is converted into pressure energy. As a result, the pressure of the medium in the discharge pipe at the end of the pressure chamber of the pump body is higher than that in the outlet pipeline. The medium in the discharge pipe of the pump body flows towards the outlet pipeline.
- As the pump operates, the medium is continuously sucked in by the suction pipe of the pump body and discharged by the discharge pipe of the pump body.
